Our Founder
Tonya L. Whiteside is not just a Founder but a Vision Catalyst, dedicated to igniting positive
transformations in the lives she touches. As a wife, mother, educator, and a credentialed high school counselor, Tonya has spent many years inspiring and empowering individuals to reach their full potential. Her remarkable journey and expertise have led her to where she is today.
Education and Expertise
Tonya holds the keys to knowledge, with master's degrees in education and human services, as well as a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. This impressive educational background has equipped her with the tools to drive meaningful change in the lives of those she serves.
Author and Creative Mind
Tonya's creative spirit knows no bounds. She is the gifted author of several impactful works, including "Change The Atmosphere with Encouraging Words", "Rebuilding Life after Trauma", "I Am More Than My Hair" coloring book, and her latest release, "Focus: A 31-Day Journal." Through her writing, she continues to spread inspiration and encouragement to all who seek it.
A Lifetime of Service
Tonya's commitment to service is unparalleled, spanning over 25 years of dedication to the public and fifteen years in teaching and facilitation. Her experience in the field of human services includes working with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, where she made a difference in the lives of those within the corrections system. Additionally, she has shared her expertise by teaching job search techniques to welfare-to-work participants.
Life Skills Workshops
As a facilitator, Tonya customizes and leads life skills workshops that cover a wide range of essential topics, including vision board retreats, self-assessment, communication, job readiness, workplace diversity, stress management, and advancement strategies. Her workshops empower individuals with the tools they need to succeed in their personal and professional lives.
Building a Better Workforce and Environment
Tonya's impact extends to students, employers, schools, and social organizations. She plays a crucial role in helping build a stronger workforce and a more inclusive environment. Tonya creates, coordinates, and presents orientations for students at various levels, from elementary to college. Moreover, she imparts valuable entrepreneurship knowledge to middle and high school students, equipping them with skills for a successful future.
Spiritual Guidance and Support
Infusing her work with spiritual wisdom and encouragement, Tonya collaborates with churches and
various non-profit organizations. She holds a certificate of completion in Christian Education Teacher’s
Training from Friendship Baptist Church and a certificate of completion for the volunteer-mandated 40-
hour Domestic Violence Advocate Training in the State of California.
Supporting Our Military Heroes
Tonya's dedication to service even extends to our military heroes. As a Veteran Military Truck Driver, she continues to offer messages of support and encouragement to active military personnel, veterans, and their families. She has a particular passion for supporting the women who have served and continue to serve our nation.
